All is Well

At a time of great discouragement, I was blessed with a dream. I saw the dark cloud of despair which hung over me, and when I looked again, pioneers broke out of the cloud, free from its oppression as they pulled their handcarts and sang, “all is well, all is well.” Headed to Zion, they did not doubt the Lord was on their side. We, too, head for Zion - not a locality, but a state of mind and heart. Threatened by darkness and despair, we must trust unequivocally in the Lord that we also may sing, "All is well.” This artwork, complete with the anomalies of painted fingernails and the completed temple tying the present to the past, is dedicated to the faith-filled pioneers. May we, too, proclaim the wonder of His works and allow our ancestors to remind us that the Lord, in tender mercy, oversees all things.
